Before the grand launch, on October 12th, an opening ceremony of the Circuit was held at Corner of Strawberries. The event was attended by the mayor, the secretary of tourism, representatives of Sebrae and Girus Soluções em Turismo, as well as members of the Circuit. This meeting was an important milestone, symbolizing the joint efforts between the public administration and the private sector in favor of cycling tourism in the region.
The event was not limited to formalities, also providing a delicious dinner with typical dishes, such as carreteiro and ribs, which were served to the participants.
The Launch Event – Unforgettable Moments
The launch event, held on October 13, was well organized and well attended by the public. Early in the morning, cyclists began to gather in the central square, where the official start was given. The weather was perfect, with the sun shining and a light breeze refreshing the participants. The launch route included some of the most stunning landscapes in the region, with sections that mixed dirt roads, trails through the forest and passages through incredible viewpoints, providing panoramic views of the mountains and valleys.
At various points along the circuit, participants had access to support tents offering water, fresh fruit and peanut candy, ensuring that they would be replenished with energy during the journey. In addition, the Civil Police were present to ensure the safety of the cyclists, while support cars and motorcycles accompanied the group, ensuring support throughout the entire route.

The São Pedro de Alcântara Cycling Tour – A Permanent Adventure
The circuit, officially launched on the 13th, remains available for cyclists who wish to enjoy the route at any time. The 47.92 km route is divided into five sections, offering different levels of difficulty, allowing cyclists of all levels to enjoy this unique experience.
Important: To ensure that you receive a certificate of completion of the circuit, it is essential that participants pay attention to the signs. Along the route, there are 5 signs that need to be scanned or photographed. Each of these signs contains a unique QR code that must be registered to validate the route. Without this registration, it is not possible to obtain the final certificate, so be careful not to miss any sign!
